With over 60 years experience in the assessment field, NFER authors and standardises bespoke selection tests in Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics and English for educational and cognitive assessment publisher, GL Assessment.
With over 60 years experience in educational test development including selection testing, NFER authors bespoke selection tests in Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics and English which are currently used by the majority of selective Local Authorities and schools across England. NFER’s rigorous and methodical item writing, trialling and item selection processes ensure LAs and schools can expect highly reliable and valid tests.
NFER is also responsible for carrying out the local (and national) standardisation of test results for the majority the LAs and schools who use selection tests authored by NFER. Drawing on NFER’s dedicated team of statisticians, test results are accurately and promptly analysed according to the clients’ specific requirements.
