Using your year 3, 4 and 5 pupils’ QCDA optional test results, we will produce a report containing a comprehensive set of tables and charts that clearly illustrate your pupils’ performance (see How does the analysis service work?). The report will contain:
- a breakdown of your pupils’ achievement in their optional tests by test level and age-standardised score;
- progression tables from key stage 1 and last year’s test levels to current optional test levels;
- a breakdown of performance by background data (e.g. boys/girls, ethnic groups etc);
- estimated probabilities of achieving level 4 and level 5 at key stage 2 in English and mathematics.
Throughout the report your school’s performance will be compared with the most up-to-date national data. The report will also help you to track individual pupil performance, identify areas of strength and weakness in English and mathematics and make predictions of future performance.

We will send you details for accessing a set of data forms to be completed with pupil data and the pupils’ test scores in the year 3, 4 or 5 optional tests. You will need to complete these forms and return them to us by 14 June 2010. We will then send your analysis report to you w/b 5 July 2010.
