Life at NFER
NFER has around 150 staff, most of whom work in our stunning offices near the centre of Slough. Other staff work in our regional offices in Swansea and York.
We are a thriving research community, with a strong emphasis on collegiate and team working. Research seminars, great resources, and highly skilled colleagues all combine to make NFER a stimulating and rewarding environment in which to work.
All NFER staff are on permanent contracts, and benefit from some of the best conditions of service of any British research institution. In addition, we have an active social committee, a subsidised staff restauruant, and an employee assistance programme.
